That’s right, that’s solid gold plated
Fairly accurate, too, compared to the Proto I.D. mic I got at the same sale.

From what I can tell, these were given away for participating in a master tech conference, with a different gold plated tool every year. The micrometer is apparently 60's, but I haven’t come across any super solid info.
